This Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision is a nationally recognized qualification for those working as site supervisors or assistant site managers. It applies to many different construction sectors, including building and civil engineering, highways maintenance and repair, residential development, conservation or demolition. This NVQ is achieved through on-site assessments, meaning you won’t have to attend classes or take time off work. There are no exams to pass. You will be assessed in a real-world environment, allowing you to demonstrate your skills and knowledge practically.
This qualification will enable you to:
- Demonstrate and recognize your skills, knowledge, and understanding of construction site supervision.
- Gain recognition as a Skilled Worker within the construction industry.
- Become eligible for a Gold CSCS card.
- Qualify for CITB grants.
Assessment Process:
The assessment process involves evaluating your skills, knowledge, and understanding based on the qualification’s standards. This qualification emphasizes competence, requiring you to demonstrate the level of competence outlined in the units. The assessment will be conducted through an e-portfolio system and is formed of two parts:
- Knowledge: You will complete a workbook to showcase your understanding of construction site supervision principles and practices.
- Practical: You will compile evidence of your practical site supervision skills from site visits or by uploading relevant documentation. This evidence will be reviewed as part of your assessment.
